How For Aisha cornered the halal baby food market
For Aisha began serving food for infants back in 2014 with our baby food pouches. Since then we have expanded the range for toddlers of up to 3 years of age and we’ve sold over 3 million meals to date. For Aisha has won or been shortlisted for 18 national food awards and we’ve supported charities overseas in disaster areas as well as Heart Research in the UK. We’ve also given 21,000 meals to FareShare (UK food banks) in the past year alone.
With the help of our award-winning chef and dietitian we are at the forefront of pioneering the very highest quality halal food for a new generation.
We spent much time in nursery schools in the beginning, ensuring that our recipes were both exciting for little ones yet gentle on tummies. With the help of our award-winning chef and dietitian we are at the forefront of pioneering the very highest quality halal food for a new generation. The halal food sector both in the UK and Worldwide has been underrepresented for many years in terms of product offerings and choice for Muslim shoppers. Parents tell us they want high-quality and convenient brands that they can relate with. That’s exactly what we offer.
We’re a big fan of the MLE and the lovely people who run the event….The show benefited us as we got to engage closely with customers
We’re a big fan of the MLE and the lovely people who run the event. It was the first show of it’s kind in the UK in 2015 and we were proud to be a part of it. The show benefited us as we got to engage closely with customers – to get their honest feedback on our branding and our food. It helped shape our NPD and communications strategy thereafter.
We’ve been busy since then with managing business, suppliers and retailers so we haven’t been able to return to the MLE until now. Now with greater team resource, we aim to be a part of it for future years. This year we will be giving away thousands of food pouches and re-enforcing our brand message of baby weaning with a variety of exotic flavours and ingredients. We also want parents to realise that our food is all natural and dairy free as those things are very important nowadays for those with little ones.
